SIRE |
We have been selling sons of this bull since 2003. Ringstead
is currently also using two sons of Yukon, ourselves, as we liked
the great depth and foot that he passes on to his offspring.
His daughters are a mainstay of our herd and breed well with
the sires we are currently using. |

SIRE RED TER-RON BLITZ 611N DAM RED BAR-E-L MEG 115M MGS RED LAZY MC DIVIDE 8J |
We purchased this bull of out the Bar-E-L program in 2006.
We turned him out the first year with two other purebred bulls and
80 purebred cows and then DNA tested the calves that we kept. A
surprisingly high percentage were from this bull.
Today, as a four year old, he is continuing to produce well.
He is structurally correct with good length and depth of rib and
puts these characteristics into his calves. |

SIRE RED BASIN SENSATION 702E OSF DAM RED RINGSTEAD LASS 55M MGS RED BRYLOR NEW TREND 22D OSF |
31P, probably the easiest fleshing bull that we have, has a
great set of feet under him. His sire produced a set of awesome
sons and daughters in his time and this bull seems to be carrying
on the tradition.
Moderate in size, 31P was Reserve Champion at Farmfair as
a calf. |

SIRE RED U-2 ILLICIT 423P DAM RED U-2 ANEXA 09E MGS RED THAT'LL DO AMERIGO 73C |
Ringstead purchased this promising young herd sire in 2007
in partnership with Dennis and Shelly Ericson at Get-A-Long Stock
Farms.
His last calf crop was born last year with nice moderate birth
weights. The calves weaned off well showing the correctness and
growth of their sire. |

Ringstead was fortunate to acquire the walking rights to this
bull when we purchased the Black Angus herd of Dennis and
Shelley Ericson at Get-A-Long Stock Farms.
2M, packed full of meat and muscle, was able to squeeze
2700 pounds onto a 5.6 frame when he was in stud. Although he
throws a little higher birth weight, we now have over 200 of his
calves on the ground with no calving problems whatsoever. He
has a powerful set of sons on test that should transmit the truly
impressive carcass data that he has. Semen is available from
Semex Alliance. |

SIRE SITZ Traveler 8180 DAM Homesteader Elba 9E MGS GDAR Executive 727 |
This bull came as the third string sire when we purchased the
Black Angus herd of Dennis and Shelley Erikson of Get-a-Long
Stock Farms. It took us a year or so to recoginize his potential,
however he quickly moved into a starting position when we saw
his first calf crops.
He sires moderate, correct, well muscled calves that can be
often used on both heifers and cows. |

SIRE PRAIRIELANE IDEAL 7451-2014 DAM KORNFELD QUENETTE 807H MGS LAMBS TROJAN 58F |
This bull was purchased out the short grass country of
Southern Saskatchewan. He comes from the well known Sandy
Bar program out of a great cow that has already produced 4 herd
sires to purebred breeders.
He has developed into a nice, correct bull who is going to fit
well into our breeding program. |

SIRE SITZ ALLIANCE 6595 NHF AMF DAM PRAIRIELANE EXT ROSEBUD 7016 MGS N BAR EMULATION EXT NHF AMF |
We purchased this sire as a 3 year old out of the Triple V
Dispersal at the end of 2005. He clearly had the best set of calves
at the dispersal.
Now as a 7 year old bull, he has not disappointed us - his
daughters are taking their place in the herd and his sons are easy
fleshing and well put together.
He is a son of the imortal Sitz Alliance 6595, the bull that truly
“did nothing wrong”. |

Leased from Yellow Rose Cattle Co. "Big Red" is a powerful
Red Simmental bull that has already produced high selling
females for Yellow Rose, not to mention a powerful, well received
set of sons for last year’s bull sale. Bobbi-Gayle tells me that this
upcoming set of calves are at least as impresive if not more. It will
be quite a set of bulls to evaluate next year. |

SIRE CA-BPG640896 TH BLACK EDITION 8R DAM CA-PG549535 KWA MS BUILDER 69K |
We partnered with Storebo Farms of Beechy, SK, to own"First Edition", our pick of the pen at McMillian Ranching this past
season where, in our opinion, the Black Edition's were the
strongest sire group that day. First Edition has super width through
the hip and over the top on a wide base and is set on great feet,
but the exciting part is the strength of the cow family. We will be
eagerly waiting for his calves in the spring. |
